Euphoria Fancy Food Inc. Issues An Alert On Uneviscerated Fish

Ewww...  This is particularly bad news, dear people.  It's difficult enough to imagine "uneviscerated fish"--Yuck!  But botulism, too!?  Botulism happens to be the most deadly known food-borne bacteria, by the way.  Did you know that accidentally inhaling only a few spores of Clostridium botulinum can cause paralysis and even death?  

Botulism is serious business!  ...and interestingly enough, it is this same deadly paralytic that is used medically in Botox treatments.  It is injected into facial muscles to paralyze them which, of course, prevents them from moving thereby delaying the advent of skin wrinkling.  It's sad to think that some people are literally dying to be young...  Read: Dying To Be Young: From Botox to Botulism

Euphoria Fancy Food Inc. 149-151 2nd Ave. Brooklyn NY 11215 is recalling Herring Special Salting discovered by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors during a routine inspection and subsequent analysis of product by Food Laboratory personnel confirming that the fish was not properly eviscerated prior to processing. This product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum spores, which can cause Botulism, a serious and potentially fatal food-borne illness.
